REEF SENSE 4 PORT EXPANDER

The Red Sea ReefSense 4-Port Expander is an essential accessory designed for advanced users of the ReefControl Pro controller who require monitoring for a large number of aquarium parameters. Its sole function is to increase the monitoring capacity of the main controller unit. Key Features • Capacity Expansion: The primary function is to expand the number of digital probe inputs available on the ReefControl Pro controller. • The ReefControl Pro base unit supports four ReefSense Probes/Sensors directly. • By adding the 4-Port Expander, the total capacity of the ReefControl Pro is increased to seven ReefSense Probes/Sensors. • Plug-and-Play Integration: The expander uses Red Sea's unique digital interface, meaning setup is seamless. The main controller automatically recognizes the expander and the probes connected to it. • Universal Port Compatibility: Each of the four ports on the expander is universal, supporting any of the Red Sea digital ReefSense Probes or sensors: • pH & Temperature Probe • Salinity & Temperature Probe • ORP Probe • Dedicated Temperature Probe • Leak Detector • ATO Module Sensor • Flexibility: This accessory allows advanced reef keepers to implement a comprehensive monitoring regime, covering all critical water quality, temperature, and safety parameters simultaneously. This is particularly valuable for large or complex systems where multiple measurements (e.g., measuring temperature in the display and the chiller return) or redundant safety features (multiple leak detectors) are desired. • Future-Proof: Like the main controllers, the expander is designed to work with all current and any future ReefSense probe types developed by Red Sea. How It Works The 4-Port Expander connects to one of the existing ports on the ReefControl Pro controller and electronically splits that single port into four usable inputs. This allows you to scale up your monitoring capability within the unified ReefBeat app interface without needing to purchase a completely new controller system. This module is a must-have for those who wish to utilize the full monitoring and automation potential of the ReefControl Pro system.
