Usage Tips Maximize the performance and longevity of your hygger Wi-Fi Automatic Fish Feeder with Camera by following these essential setup and maintenance tips. Perfect for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. 1. Installation Tips for Aquarium Compatibility Secure the feeder using adjustable clips on the tank rim for a stable fit. Attach to closed-lid tanks using the included adhesive stickers for a firm hold. Compatible with most square and rectangular aquarium designs. Avoid installing near water filters, bubblers, or strong currents, as these may scatter food before fish can access it. 2. Power Supply Options Plug into a standard wall outlet using the included 5-foot USB cable for consistent power. For travel or backup use, connect to a portable power bank for uninterrupted operation. 3. How to Program Feeding Schedules Easily set feeding times by selecting specific weekdays (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 8:00 AM) or daily feeds (e.g., 9:00 AM every day). Once programmed, the automatic feeder repeats the cycle weekly—no reconfiguration needed. 4. Regular Maintenance for Optimal Performance Clean the food container and feeding mechanism monthly to prevent clogs, food buildup, or algae formation. Wipe the HD camera lens regularly to maintain a clear, high-quality live video feed of your aquarium. 5. Compatible Fish Food Types Use dry, non-oily foods such as small pellets, flakes, or powdered fish food. Avoid using sticky, wet, or oversized food that could clog the dispenser and disrupt feeding.
