The unique motion these innovative reactors produce allows for much greater suspension of the media in a cyclone "churn" style motion created with their patent-pending churn plate. The BioChurn Reactors come in Four Series including the in-sump, External/Recirculating and the Commercial line. For the ultimate control of PO4 & NO3 look no further than the BioChurn. The Reef Octopus in-sump BioChurn Reactors come with an Aquatrance pump that feeds the reactor as well disperses the media into suspension. These models are ideal for those that want a simple reactor that is easy to use and maintain. The cascading design allow for greater surface area for bacteria to colonize while the delicate churn motion of the pellets allow for extended contact time between the nutrient rich aquarium water and the biopellet media.
