WATER. AIR. A LIVING FILM.

A wheel that
works with life.

Look inside a hang-on-back filter, follow one pleat through water and air, and see why its biological wheel is cared for differently from its cartridge.

ONE PLEAT / TWO ENVIRONMENTS

Watch the amber mark move through the water-contact arc and the moist, air-exposed arc. The return flow drives every turn.

Original educational geometry based on classic Penguin-style operation, not a CAD replica. Wheel count, pleat count and proportions are illustrative. Exploding the model pauses operation.

Sources & model notes

Classic Penguin-style, return-driven wheel. Emperor spray-bar drive and proprietary internal dimensions are not represented. Hydraulics, biological colors, maintenance timing and particle scale are illustrative.
