THE ENGINEERING OF SEPARATION

Keep the water.
Export the waste.

A fine screen, a measured change in level, and a wash that runs only when it is needed.

Starts a fresh illustrated cycle. Captions guide you; spoken narration is optional.

Sources, model notes & limitations

An original gravity-fed teaching design. Drum geometry, exposed gear train, levels and accelerated cycle timings are illustrative, not a replica, installation plan or sizing tool. Half the drum is clipped in cutaway; the complete cylinder is restored in Assembled view.

Particles and screen openings are enlarged. The simulation tracks relative sector loading and a simplified head response; it does not calculate fluid dynamics, pressure, flexible debris capture, water consumption or chemistry. Fault behavior is demonstrative and varies on real equipment.
